The California Energy Commission is providing fleet-eligible $1,000 incentives for the purchase of Honda's Civic Natural Gas sedan as part of a larger initiative to expand the use of alternative fuels in the state.

Hybrid Truck Project Launches in Southern Calif.

DIAMOND BAR, CA -- The South Coast Air Quality Management District (AQMD) is now working with Volvo, Capstone Turbine Corp. and Kenworth Truck Co. on a new commercial hybrid truck project. In November, AQMD approved $1.56 million to develop and demonstrate two hybrid trucks in partnership with the truck manufacturers.

Odyne Awarded Plug-in Hybrid Truck Project
