The State of Oklahoma, its agencies and the City of Dallas have ordered a total of 321 Ford F-150 pickups that can run on compressed natural gas or gasoline, according to Ford Motor Co., which also said that demand for gas is growing strongly.
The City of Dallas is continuing its transition to a greener fleet with the recent purchase of 99 compressed natural gas (CNG) trucks and vans.
DALLAS – Two new electric vehicle (EV) charging stations powered up at Dallas City Hall Feb. 27, compliments of retail electricity provider TXU Energy. TXU Energy will fund the cost of the charging station equipment, infrastructure, installation — and the electricity used to power EVs for the first year.
