ROUSH CleanTech is recalling 434 2015- to 2017-model year Ford E-450, F59, F-650 and F-750 vehicles modified by ROUSH and equipped with Generation 4 propane conversion kits, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

The fuel control valve solenoid may short circuit, shutting off the flow of propane to the engine and causing the engine to shut off.

“An engine stall while driving increases the risk of a crash,” NHTSA warned on its website.

ROUSH dealers will replace the fuel control valve solenoid, free of charge, to fix the problem. The recall is already under way.

Truck and van owners can reach ROUSH customer service at (800) 597-6874. The company’s identification code for this recall is VR.
