International car rental company Green Motion has been recognized by Corporate Vision Magazine as the 2017 “Most Sustainable Vehicle Hire Company.” The award is part of the magazine’s 2017 Executive Awards.

Green Motion launched in 2007 offering vehicles with lower CO2 emissions. Recently, the company created a Green Heart offset program for re-planting activities in both Costa Rica and Brazil, allowing the company to carbon neutralize its services.

“This is a great end to 2017, it was a real honor to receive CV Magazine's Executive Award for Sustainability,” said Richard Lowden, founder and CEO of Green Motion. "While we are recognized as not only the pioneers but leaders of eco-friendly vehicle rental, our work is by no means done. We remain focused on our continuing drive to lower CO2 emissions and our impact on the environment.”
