N.C. State's $4.4M Grant to Develop Fleet Management Training

First Gaseous-Prep 2016 F-150 Rolls Off Assembly Line

This 2016 F-150 is powered by a 5.0L Ti-VCT V-8 engine that can be paired with a factory-installed, gaseous-fuel prep package that includes hardened valves, valve seats, pistons, and piston rings so it can operate on natural gas, propane autogas, or gasoline through separate fuel systems.

Alkane will use Foton cab-chassis from China with North American components, including a propane-fueled engine. Assembly in South Carolina is set for early 2016.

PERC Approves Autogas Nozzle Incentive Program

The Propane Education & Research Council (PERC) has approved 10 funding requests, including one for an autogas nozzle incentive program. PERC will allocate $500,000 for a pilot program that will give qualifying marketers an incentive to help their customers replace older autogas nozzles with new, lower-emission autogas refueling equipment.
