TruStar Energy has opened its first company-branded public-access compressed natural gas (CNG) fueling station in Orlando, Fla., the fueling infrastructure developer announced.

Located in a heavy truck traffic corridor and open 24 hours a day, the fast-fill CNG station is capable of fueling several hundred vehicles a day and promises to deliver lower fueling cost and reduced transportation-related emissions to the Orlando area, according to TruStar.

The new station has four traffic lanes and two fueling islands. Designed for future expansion, the station can accept two additional dispensers adding four more traffic lanes.

The City of Orlando will use the fueling station to fuel its CNG vehicles in addition its own stations.

The station is supplied by TECO Peoples Gas, a natural gas distribution utility.
