McGinn, the Navy’s assistant secretary for energy, installations, and environment, will not be able to attend the March 3 event. He has been scheduled to give Congressional testimony that day regarding President Barack Obama’s recently released annual budget.

Stites manages the Navy’s fleet of non-tactical vehicles, which includes an array of work trucks, vans, and cars. Prior to receiving his current appointment in McGinn’s Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Navy (Energy, Installations and Environment) in April 2014, Stites held a variety of roles in the Navy.

Beginning in 2007, he served as assistant deputy commander for operations, then assistant operations officer, and finally operations officer for Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Washington.

The Green Truck Summit will be held March 3-4 in conjunction with the 2015 Work Truck Show at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis. The event, which is produced by the NTEA, features educational sessions that cover advanced technologies and alternative fuels, implementation strategies, and timely insights into regulatory changes.
