Green Gas Ltd, the joint venture between Nigerian Independent Petroleum Company (NIPCO) and Nigerian Gas Company (NGC), has developed a multi-billion dollar plant in Ibafon, Ogun, which will produce natural gas to power vehicles in the region, according to a report in the NGV Journal.

The project is 95 percent completed and will start operations in 2015, according to the report.

This partnership, which has already set up seven CNG stations, has 10 additional fueling facilities under construction: four are located on Benin-Warri dual highway, two on Benin-Asaba dual highway, one on Benin-Lagos dual highway, one on Benin-Abuja Expressway and one in Delta, according to the report.
