Frank Ziegler, director of sales at GreenKraft Inc., a Santa Ana based company, providing alternative-fuel trucks, alternative-fuel systems, and alternative-fuel engines to businesses in the U.S., announced it has received EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) and CARB (California Air Resources Board) on the compressed natural gas (CNG) Ford 6.8L V10 3-valve engine.

GreenKraft Inc.’s CNG fuel delivery system has the least amount of components added to the engine, which is based on the Ford 6.8L 3-valve that are very popular for fleet operators nationwide. In addition, GreenKraft Inc. is offering the first CNG Type 4, 32.5 gas gallon equivalent (GGE) tanks or CNG Type 4, 65GGE packages that can be side-frame mounted or behind-the-cabin mounted.

GreenKraft Inc. is in the process of certifying several Ford engine families with EPA and CARB certification. GreenKraft Inc. offers CNG Fuel Delivery Systems on GM 4.8L and 6.0L engine families and has converted over 100 Isuzus that utilize the GM 6.0L engine in California.
