Altech-Eco Receives Final EPA Certifications for 2013 F-250/F-350 CNG Conversion Systems

December 05, 2012

ASHEVILLE, NC – Altech-Eco Corporation of Asheville, N.C., announced it has obtained Certificates of Conformity (C.O.C.) from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for both CNG bi-fuel and dedicated conversion systems for the 2013 Ford 6.2L V-8 F-250/F-350 pickups with Ford-supplied CNG gaseous prepped engine.

The dedicated version converts the vehicle to operate 100 percent on CNG and the bi-fuel version enables the vehicle to operate on either CNG or gasoline.

Altech-Eco’s systems are designed in collaboration with a Ford-approved QCM (Qualified Calibration Modifier) for real-fleet applications, including energy and utility companies.

Altech-Eco is dedicated to the continued development of CNG conversion systems for the Ford product line, which includes: Ford Transit Connect and E-Series vans. Also available from Altech-Eco is the EPA-certified 2013 Transit Connect 2.0L as bi-fuel or dedicated CNG conversion systems.
