New CNG Shuttle Buses Offering Service for Atlanta Airport

September 19, 2012

ATLANTA – The Parking Spot, an off-site airport shuttle bus company, recently added 31 compressed natural gas (CNG) buses to its three lots near the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International airport.

The Parking Spot worked with the Clean Cities-Atlanta coalition and funding from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) helped in the acquisition of the buses. The fleet was recently profiled as a Clean Cities Success Story on MotorWeek’s Sept. 8th episode.

Produced by Maryland Public Television, the short segment aired on PBS stations nationwide Sept. 8. For show times in your area, check the MotorWeek (motorweek.org) and Discovery Channel (discoverychannel.com) websites.
