To promote the selling of its Mirai hydrogen fuel cell vehicle, Toyota showed a version of the vehicle inspired by the "Back to the Future" movies that used Oct. 21, 2015 as the date where its 1980s lead character travels into the future.

London Becomes First Mirai UK Fleet Customer

Boris Johnson, the mayor of London, has announced the Toyota Mirai, the hydrogen fuel cell sedan, is coming to London, England, as part of his work to pioneer the use of cleaner technology for the future of the British capital’s transport and infrastructure.

Fuel cell technology is an emergent power source for vehicles, and hydrogen is one of the most common sources. This channel covers fuel-cell vehicles, the development of new fuel cell technologies, hydrogen fueling stations and infrastructure, and the pros and cons of hydrogen as a fuel source for fleets.
