Washington Gas' Melissa Reidy accepts the CLEANFleet certification honor from Government Fleet magazine's Publisher Eric Bearly.

SCHAUMBURG, IL – Public utility Washington Gas has achieved the highest level in the CLEANFleet certification (CFC) program. CFC is a national program developed by the Coalition for Green Fleet Management to certify both private and public fleet operations as energy efficient and environmentally responsible.

Washington Gas is the first fleet to go through the certification process. Although the program offers five certification tiers, Washington Gas chose to work toward the highest certification level and achieved it. The utility’s Melissa Reidy accepted the award on behalf of the company.
