Spire Natural Gas Fueling Solutions and Mainstay Fuel Technologies have announced a partnership combining Spire’s fueling station offerings with Mainstay’s compressed natural gas vehicle fuel system business.

The joint effort will offer customized CNG vehicles and fueling station solutions designed to fit a fleet’s needs. Combined efforts will take advantage of Mainstay and Spire’s integrated product and service offerings, while complementing each company’s strategies and operations, which will remain independent.

“This joint effort enhances the ability of both our companies to be competitive in the marketplace, and we appreciate Spire’s commitment to Mainstay and CNG as a transportation fuel for the future,” said Rod Grandy, Mainstay CEO.

The St. Louis-based Spire offers natural gas fueling solutions for the commercial natural gas vehicle industry. Mainstay Fuel Technologies designs, engineers and manufactures components used in CNG-powered fuel systems, serving the medium- and heavy-duty commercial vehicle markets.
