Tesla Motors plans to reveal its Model 3 in March of 2016, and the battery-electric vehicle line could reach a driving range of up to 300 miles, according to a report from Autocar.

The company plans to offer at least two affordable models in its Model 3 line, including a sedan and compact utility, Tesla's chief technical officer has announced.

The Model 3 will go on sale in middle of 2017, according to the Autocar report. Vehicles in the Model 3 lineup should retail for about $35,000.
