Tesla Motors has introduced the Model S 70D to replace the outgoing Model S 60 base model, and increases range to 240 miles, the company has announced.

Tesla's 70D uses the company's dual-motor system that includes all-wheel drive. It includes a 70 kilowatt-hour battery pack, and will retail for $75,000. The 70D can reach 0-60 mph in 5.2 seconds and provides a 240-mile range at 65 mph.

The 70D effectively replaces Tesla's base Model S that includes a 60 kilowatt-hour battery pack. The Model S 60 provides a range of 208 miles.

The 70D uses supercharging and includes features such as Autopilot hardware, navigation, and blind spot detection. It's available in three new colors including Ocean Blue, Obsidian Black, and Warm Silver.
