AMP Jeep Grand Cherokee EV to Debut at Auto Show in Detroit
CINCINNATI -- AMP Electric Vehicles http://ampelectricvehicles.com/ announced plans to introduce its AMP Jeep Grand Cherokee electric vehicle at the 2012 North American International Auto Show in Detroit http://www.naias.com/, which will be held Jan. 9-22. The vehicle will be available for test drive.
The AMP Jeep Cherokee EV http://ampelectricvehicles.com/our-vehicles/amp-jeep will feature the company’s proprietary technology for SUVs and full-sized vehicles. The estimated range for the vehicle is 80-100 miles.
"Beginning with a world-class vehicle and adding AMP's electrification results in an EV that offers everything SUV customers expect: smooth powerful performance, zero emissions and up to a 100-mile range," said Jim Taylor , AMP CEO.
AMP will announce pricing, initial delivery dates and market distribution at the Auto Show.
