CHICAGO - DBT, a leading electric vehicle charging station manufacturer in Europe, has launched a U.S. subsidiary in Chicago.

DBT already has more than 6,000 units installed in more than 20 countries. The new subsidiary, DBT USA, will specialize in providing turnkey EV charging hardware and software as well as integration services for all applications, including fleet.

The company will offer Level I, Level II and Level III DC quick chargers. DBT USA has also secured strategic partnerships to provide a range of sustainable charging infrastructure. Agreements with AllCell Technologies and Sun Phocus Technologies allow DBT to offer solar-powered turnkey on-grid and off-grid solutions.

Under the agreements, AllCell will provide lithium-ion battery packs protected by AllCell's passive thermal management system. Sun Phocus will provide solar panels using holographic planar concentrating technology.

"We are confident that our long history of innovative EV charging combined with our exciting new partnerships will allow us to provide our customers with exceptional value," said Herve Borgoltz, president of DBT.

The company was founded in 1990.
