BEIJING, CHINA - CODA Automotive CEO Philip Murtaugh said the company is on track to launch sales of its all-electric CODA Sedan in the second half of this year in California, the Detroit News reported.
The car, based on a Mitsubishi chassis, will be manufactured in Harbin, China, through a partnership with Hafei Motor Co. But final assembly will be performed in California.
CODA expects to sell 10,000 to 14,000 CODA Sedans in the 12 months after launch.
