BOULDER, CO - Boulder EV announced that the California Hybrid Truck and Bus Voucher Incentive Project has approved four of its CARB-certified zero emission vehicles (ZEV) for its $20,000 rebate voucher program.

According to Carter Brown, CEO for the company, the California voucher, plus the federal tax break of $7,500, reduces the price of the delivery truck to roughly $73,500.

In addition, Brown said that the company is in talks with a number of corporate fleets, though he declined to provide specific details. “We’re talking with a couple of big corporations,” Brown said. “Four of the top 10 fleets in the world are doing test drives with our vehicles.”

The vehicles eligible for the voucher include a medium-duty delivery van, 15-passenger shuttle, flat-bed, and service-body truck.
