August 25, 2008

HOUSTON --- Ethanol & Biodiesel Management University, a conference on the biofuels market, is set for Sept. 8-9 at the Renaissance Hotel in Houston, Texas.

The conference will focus on:

** The proper way to set up your company's risk profile — both as a biofuels buyer and seller.

** The outlook for biodiesel economics -- crush margins for soy, animal fat, rapeseed and other feedstocks.

** The role cellulosic ethanol and alternatives to crop-based distillates will play in the future of biofuels.

** How to profit from simple and advanced hedging strategies, such as futures and options, using corn, soy, gasoline, heating oil and other basis points.

** The proper way to set up your company's risk profile — both as a biofuels buyer and seller.

** Up-blending, octane enhancement and tax incentives -- using biofuels to boost fuel margins.

** How to benefit from the RFS/RIN system — and what to watch out for.

** Brazil, the Caribbean, India and China -- arbitrage opportunities and their effects on U.S. imports.

** How to overcome transportation and storage challenges for ethanol and biodiesel.
